Veletta Forsythe-Lill
Civic Leader | Board PresidentVeletta Forsythe-Lill has been a Dallas change agent for more than 3 decades. A member of the Dallas City Council from 1997-2005 and founding executive director of the Dallas Arts District from 2008-2012, Veletta has played multiple roles in the cultural, political, and physical development of the city.
Longtime community advocate most well known for her work in arts and historic preservation, Veletta has served on a number of private, nonprofit boards including the Dallas Museum of Art and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Her work in urban planning, arts, and historic preservation has been honored by organizations at the local, state, and national level.
