Anita Crethers

Community Engagement Manager

Anita Crethers was born and raised in the South Dallas community, where she attended and graduated from Lincoln High School and Humanities/Communications Magnet. Anita is a Community Advocate and social change agent who excels at providing services and resources to the community through her work with nonprofit and government organizations. Anita is dedicated to bringing equity and opportunities to underserved communities. Anita believes that if we all give back and make it our mission to take care of each other, our communities can be rebuilt and its members empowered.

Anita has worked with many organizations, including Promise House, Ameri Corps, Dallas Bethlehem Center, Volunteering While Black, after 8 to Educate, Dallas Free Press, 2 Inspire Peace, Inc., City of Dallas, and many more.

Anita holds a bachelor’s degree from Paul Quinn College in Business Administration and Accounting and a master’s in Public Leadership with a focus on Nonprofits and Community Organizations from UNT Dallas.
